Dear Diary,
Well I came up to the town of good fortune and it was on fire! Turns out it went up in flames yesterday and no-one was harmed, but when I got there it was still ignited, yet deserted. So I thought to test out what this gem can do I tried a water attack. It went badly wrong. I made a huge wave, so powerful that not only did it put out the flames but it knocked down most of the buildings. Pretending that didn’t just happen, I ran off whilst nobody was around.

Dear Diary,
I think I’ve made myself my first enemy. I was trying to find a town or village to stay in and I found one right next to a mountain. Relived, I went inside to take a look around. They had many funny traditions in this place; worshipping dragons seemed to be the most popular one, as every elder I saw had a small, pet dragon by their side.

I went straight to the Inn after a bit of observing and fell straight off to sleep. The next day was when I thought I’d go have a proper look around. Amethyst gave me a bit of currency from many places so one of the pieces of money I had should work, and thankfully this place accepted gold, so I used that. I looked through many shops all morning, including a strange one which only sold lizard heads, a pet shop where you could get your own dragon, and a shop where the town’s witch sells her potions. But the one I enjoyed most was a place where you can learn about the many creatures of the sea, including Asrai’s, but they’ve gotten all the information wrong about them so I walked out laughing to myself at them.

I found people gathering around something during lunchtime, so I thought I’d go check out what was happening. A girl, about the same age as me, was dancing around to music, shooting flames out of her mouth. She was a very pretty girl, yet there was something sinister about her. She had black hair tied up in a tight ponytail and a red outfit to match the colour of the flames. She also had markings on her upper arms; they were strange yet vaguely familiar. She continued dancing, appealing to the crowd and magically waving flames around her body. Some of the flames she produced were shaped like long dragons, whizzing around the guy playing the music and even some of the audience. She finished her performance with a curtsy, bowing as low as she could.

She looked around the audience and her gaze fixed on me, I noticed straight away she was looking at my ears. I couldn’t believe I forgot to put my blanket over my head before I left the Inn. I decided to walk away, but she already began coming towards me. “You there! Long ears, I’ve not seen your face before. Are you a traveller?”
I couldn’t back away now she’s asked me something, so I replied with a simple yes. She started to examine me, looking at my clothes, face, and even my hair net, and then smirked at me.
“What’s your name traveller?” I told her my name is Arill, she then shook my hand. “My name’s Incendia, would you like a drink at the bar? And don’t worry, my father runs the main bar around here so we’re allowed in.”
I couldn’t refuse an offer like that, and even though the jewel of Neptune is stopping me from getting thirsty, I would love to have some milk again. So I accepted her offer and followed her to the bar.

The building she led me to seemed to be not only a bar, but a house. As we walked in, I saw a large man cleaning glasses and cups at the back of the room; he appeared to be Incendia’s father.
“Ahh Cindy! How was your performance?” The man asked.
“DON’T call me that! We’ve got another person here you know! And get us a drink! I’m bloody parched after all that dancing.”
The man backed down and took out a goblet with red markings on it, then filled it up with a strange liquid. He came over and passed me a piece of paper, then gave the goblet to Incendia.
“Have whatever you like on there! On the house!” She grinned.
I looked down and my mind was made up the moment I saw the words Chateau Romani: Milk.
“Oh that stuff, we get that imported from a land far, far away from here. Best milk in the land according to father. Dam expensive though.”
I asked if I could have that one and she ordered her dad to fetch some for me. She made herself comfortable on the wooden chair, bringing others over to put her feet up. She took small sips of her drink, waiting patiently for her dad to return with my drink.
“Here you go little girl” He beamed, passing me two large bottles of milk. “My treat” then walked off.

“So Arill, what brings you here? You ran away from your parents or something?”
I’ve never thought about my parents before, it never crossed my mind during my time as an Asrai. I replied with a simple no.
“My mother ran away from us. Says that it’s far too boring around this place for her liking so she packed her stuff and ran off, her mother was a Gerudo you know, have you ever heard of those?”
I had a small flashback of when I first entered Gerudo Valley before I met Link. A group of pretty ladies were guarding the bridge to the other side, and I asked if I could go through. They told me no little brats were allowed and ushered me away. I back chatted at the guard and instead of getting angry, she laughed, telling me to come back when I’m older. “If you’ve still got that attitude when you’re an adult, then I might consider letting you through.”
I’ve only realised now that Incendia has the same mannerisms as the Gerudo, she even looked like them a little, minus the black hair, they all had red.

Incendia glanced at the back to check if her father was there, she then stood up and shut the back door and the front, and sat down again and asked me a question I wasn’t expecting at all.
“So how long have you had the Jewel of Neptune for? I thought I could sense its powers a few days back. Was that you using it?”
How in Nayru’s name did she know of it? It was tucked under my dress so there’s no way she could’ve seen it, she must be able to sense its presence. I couldn’t really hide it any longer so I said yes.
She then gave me a sly smile, “You managed to get it off the gods then? Good for you, my mother managed to obtain the jewel of Venus a long time back, then gave it to me just before she left.” She raised her right index finger then with a small spark, she was holding a red jewel in her hand, it glowed in the same kind of enchanting light the jewel of Neptune did. “She said it would be in good hands, which I felt quite privileged by, you know?”
I asked her if it granted her an infinite amount of fire. “Not exactly, yours grants infinite water correct? Mine grants a large amount of fire spells, maybe even all of them. Some I’ve not mastered yet but I’ve learned enough spells that could bring towns and even cities to their knees.”
It was that point then where I thought not to trust her; it was her who burnt the town of good fortune.

Incendia then asked me if she could have a look at the jewel, I pulled it out from underneath of my dress and looked at it, then at her. She held out her hand and smiled at me in a really freakish way, I tucked it back inside and said firmly to her--no.
She looked like she was about to have a tantrum, and said please. I said no again, because I knew she wouldn’t give it back and I’d be helpless again.

She cracked. Incendia knocked her chair over and replaced the jewel of Venus with a ball of fire, and demanded it off me. She didn’t scare me; she had a filthy attitude and a tempter worse than mine. So I summoned a bit of water and blasted her into the wall, knocking her into a few chairs and tables. I thought I’d take this chance not only to run, but to take the milk with me too.

I had to get back to the Inn and grab all my belongings, then make my way out of the town as quickly as possible. I travelled for the rest of the day and made camp behind a rock in the plains. It’s very cold compared to inside the town, but at least I was a good distance away from that foul girl.

Dear Diary,
It’s been eight months since that girl, Incendia, has tried to take the Jewel of Neptune away from me. And she’s not stopped chasing me since now. I’ve toughened up a little during that time, but not much. I’m still forced to flee from any threats but at least if things get really bad I can shoot them away with water attacks, it’s the only move I’ve learned so far.

She stopped following me when I entered a sacred forest, she kept shouting from outside, warning me that no-one’s ever returned from this place. But she’s cornered me so I had no choice but to enter. It didn’t seem that bad, the sun was shining bright through the many leaves up above and the ground was easy enough to see, so I knew which way to go. But hearing small voices was a bit creepy, it sounded like the Kokiri’s all over again, but I knew this wasn’t the Lost Woods; I’m very far away from that place now.

The voices turned out to be small people called pixies. They were similar to fairies, but these little guys didn’t have any wings. I decided not to underestimate them; I learnt that during my travels. So I knelt down and asked them politely how to get to the other side of the forest.

“This girl’s different, she seems very special.” They kept saying to each other. They whispered to one and other until one turned around and said, “Ok! You seem worthy enough, I’ll take you to the Sacred Village.”
The pixie-man whistled and a winged, fluffy creature, just the size for him, came down and landed right next to him. He jumped on then the creature took off again. “Follow me! And don’t trail behind!” he shouted, and the small creature zipped away. I had to run to keep up with it; I never knew something so small would be so fast!

I wasn’t sure how long I was following this thing, but as we moved deeper into the woods, the denser the place became. I let out a small yelp when I came across my first remains of a body, I thought its eyes were going to glow yellow then attack me, but it remained motionless. I passed by a few of these and the more I saw, the less I grew scared and more pitying them.

“You seem to be keeping up rather well! Let’s see how you cope if I took the long way there!” I wanted to swat that thing away and squish the little pixie, but I’d be completely lost as this guy’s led me in all kinds of directions, causing me to lose my bearings. So I continued running after him.

After what felt like days following this little maggot, he finally stopped and clapped. “Wow, we’ve not had someone run all around the forest like that before! You kept up with me and didn’t even look tired, let alone die.”
I thought I was going to explode; he took me all around the forest including the furthest corners of it! I asked him if up ahead was where this Sacred Village is.
“Yup! Just straight ahead little lady. Oh! And watch out for Bobbles, they tend to be pretty lethal.” He winked at me then flew off.

I felt pretty tense when he said that, and he flew off too quickly for me to ask him why. So I gathered a bit of water in my hand ready to shoot whatever was going to come out.

The Bobble things weren’t that lethal at all, they were small, round, orange fluffy things with small legs and long arms. They were probably only lethal to the pixies, but to me, they were pretty cute. I even picked one up and took it with me to this Sacred Village.

When I left the forest I was revealed to a place where it was true to its name. The place looked so ancient yet beautiful I thought the gods created it for their holiday breaks! I walked in, and was greeted by gasps of little children with short, black hair. They ran off, all in so many different ways it was unbelievable. One flew away, another bounced away, and one even used ice to run away. They all fled to the biggest building in the area. It stood right in the middle, and it was connected to all of the little buildings, I walked around and was about to do some sightseeing, but I was stopped by a man who magically appeared in front of me. He seemed to be about the same age as Amethyst, yet his eyes told me he was far older. He glared at me then lifted me with invisible forces, carrying me inside the big building.

I will continue my entry another time, as the leader is going to enter my room any moment now.

CINDY!!! :iconyayzplz:

You know the more I think about it her and Ichiro surprisingly have quite a bit of similarities.

Apart from the obvious fact that both of them use fire (and they both have black hair XDD) Ichiro has a bad temper himself (though he usually tries to keep his anger in check where as I guess Cindy just explodes as she sees fit I guess.)

Though I think what really seperates them is that (and this is just from what I understand) Cindy...abuses her powers a bit. Ichiro on the other hand; he knows what he is capable of and he is VERY afraid of himself and what he can do.

Anyway I'm just blathering like an idiot XDD Good job Sophie ^^
